Thing 3 - Flickr

I just completed Thing 3 - Flickr. I uploaded 13 photos of my flowers and birdy babies. It took me several minutes to get all of my accounts set up and straight. But I had fun doing it. Now on to Thing 4 - More Flickr!! My theory being, if I can do this, believe me, we all can do this! I can't wait to see other Flickr accounts. To get to my Flickr account:

Oh, my! I feel so inept. A lot of what is in article 2 and video 4 is almost Greek to me. I am of the more MATURE generation who did not even touch a computer until about 1992 and then only at school for a grade book program. I know I am woefully behind in my knowledge and thinking.
I do find it exciting that our young people are so eager to interact with each other. It would be criminal to not harness that interaction and enthusiam to modernise today's libraries. Of course, one reason I signed up for NTX23 was to be able to at least minimally function with the students and know what they are doing and be abel to interact with them.
This will definitely be a major learning experience for me - but, well worth the time I feel confident. :-) caw

Dawn Breaks

Hidy Ho, All. I believe that there is a little glimmer of light on the horizon. I can only hope that the light rises to warm and stimulate my oh-so-muttled brain. I, also, hope that I will be able to actually retain and use what we learn - not my strong point!!
I am glad to be aboard. Believe me, I can say with confidence in my voice that many of you will be hearing my whinny little voice begging for help and support during this exercise. PLEASE BE KIND!! : -) caw
